“God created man in his own image…” (Gen 1:27) with the details spelt out in “the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Gen 2:7) and “the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man” (Gen 2:21-22).
The blessing and God’s interaction with him specify at what stage in life he was created “God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Gen 1:28) implying the ability to procreate “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth”; power to work on the earth “subdue it” control the activities of other creatures “have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” and, besides, to have fellowship with Him “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?” (Gen 3:8-9)
The relative status of man to his wife is stated in “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him… And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man” (Gen 2:18-22)
The Prime of life is the time of maturity when beauty, power and vigor are greatest; it is the best of one’s life. The prime of life spans over a period; there’s no age at which man is best at everything – or even most things
Throughout history, adulthood has been undergoing profound transformations. In the agrarian communities, life was at its prime when the man is considered able to have a farm of his own and produce enough to feed himself and his household while women are so considered when they are found to be able to pass through the initiation rites into womanhood.
Today men and women wait until they have established full-time careers, generally reaching their thirties, to marry and have children; thus, occupying a prolonged period in which they are no longer adolescents but still lack the traditional emblems of adult identity.
It is to be noted that it is at this time we, on our own, make the aging process a more pleasant journey. And this is what we want to do with you; create a pleasant old age situation for yourself in your prime.
