PREAMBLE

God’s Word revealed to us that All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim 3:16). Any attempt to distort the scriptures is anti-Christ. The same scriptures say “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book” (Rev 22:18, 19). There is thus the need to carefully study our comments on the revelations of the Holy Scriptures.

Let us view the creation account as of an entrepreneur who has the financial resources to set up an industry. Suppose he has a sum of five million US dollars, it becomes possible for me to conceive of a small-scale downstream petroleum industry. Within the day he can identify where he would be able to secure a piece of land for the industry, determine the staff requirements, determine and locate where he would obtain the equipment and facility requirements and have a conception of the market.

To set up the industry will require feasibility study which may take up to two weeks, a business plan that would follow-up on the assessment of the report on the feasibility study which also would last about two weeks, a detailed market survey that may have to follow up on the business plan which take some two to four weeks, identification and location for lease or hire a space or facility for housing the industry, design and selection of equipment and facilities and commissioning. The industry may take about two years before it starts operations.

In chapter one of Genesis God finished creation “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day” (Gen 1:31). He could have finished creation in a day, but that would not have established the week for mankind.

Chapter two of Genesis revealed the procedure in putting all living things into physical existence.

God allows a flood of light to be poured upon the world in both science and art; but when we employ science to be used by Satan to misguide us we treat upon these subjects from a merely human point of view, we then come to wrong conclusions. It may be innocent to speculate beyond what God’s word has revealed, as long as He is glorified, if our theories do not contradict facts found in the Scriptures; but those who leave the word of God, and seek to account for His created works upon Satan-inspired scientific principles, are drifting without chart or compass upon an unknown ocean. The greatest minds, if not guided by the word of God in their research, become bewildered in their attempts to trace the relations of science and revelation.

It is not impossible that the earth is aging in billions of years but have we not discovered the evolution claim follows the pattern of creation? What science has failed to give us are the origin of the big bang and how the amoebic creature gave itself life and began to think of transformation, among others. The thought of man has not revealed it to him that if evolution was responsible for the creatures there should be existing transition creatures between ape and man, for example.

Because the Creator and His works are so far beyond man’s comprehension that he is unable to explain them by natural laws, and thus, regard Bible history as unreliable. Those who doubt the reliability of the records of the Old and New Testaments will be led to degrade their beings, and doubt the existence of God; and then, having lost their anchor, they are left to beat about upon the rock-filled torrent-characterized rivers of infidelity.divine-recognition
