Although it was a long time that I read this article (2012) by Femi Aribisala, it just occurred to me that I should make some remarks on it so that weak Christians should not be misled.
The devil uses those that are zealous unwittingly
Peter was a zealous disciple and Satan tried to use him (Mark 8:32-33; Luke 8:45-46; John 13:6-10; Matt 26:33-34). Paul says “Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.” (1 Cor 8:13); again he warns “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” (1 Cor 10:12).
Satan has a way of creeping into a man’s heart and using them for his own purpose. I have read a lot of comments and write-ups about Paul wanting to take the glory of Christ but on close examination, I discovered that it is not true; they are satanically inspired. While Satan is fighting Christianity from without, it is also doing the same from within.
I’ll give an example. The Church is now preaching not to kill the wicked but the spirit working in them but we should remember that Jesus never killed any spirit because it is not yet time “And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.” (Mark 5:12-13). (1 Kings 13:1-25) is also an example way in which Satan deceives God’s people. The Church needs to know that the wicked is different from the enemy.
Nobody has claimed that God said every word written in the Holy Bible but that the writings were inspired. We heard the utterances of people like Cain, Pharaoh, Laban, Nebuchadnezzar, Pilate, Herod, etc; even Jacob’s deceit of his father and the trick used in getting the birthright from Esau. but they were all included for edification and caution. Paul told Timothy “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Tim 3:16-17)
I shall advise that we should not be carried away by the Satanically inspired writings of the West to cause us to derail or derail others.
The HOLY BIBLE is simply the WORD OF GOD
